Job summary

Skilled Medical’s Darwin-based Aboriginal Health team is seeking a Specialist General Practitioner for FIFO work across the West Arnhem region. You will provide planned care, work with nurses and allied health professionals, and contribute to high-quality, culturally appropriate care.

The role supports flexible rotations; minimum engagement three weeks, with a two-week rotation possible if based in Darwin. The clinic operates 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, and on-call duties are handled by nursing staff and

Qualifications

• A Northern NT GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice.
• GPs are not required to be on-call; the DMO on-call service covers emergencies outside business hours.
• FIFO Darwin-based arrangement with minimum engagement of 3 weeks, 2 weeks if Darwin-based.

Responsibilities

• See scheduled patients for planned care and referrals from nurses and AHPs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure culturally appropriate care delivery.
• Support remote community health delivery across the West Arnhem region.
