Job summary

Skilled Medical seeks a General Practitioner to join a Northern Territory Aboriginal Health clinic, located about 2 hours driving from Darwin. The GP will manage scheduled patient care, collaborate with nurses, AHPs and remote communities to deliver culturally appropriate services.

The role supports a multidisciplinary team with on-site hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; there is no requirement for on-call duty for GPs, as nursing staff utilise the NT Health DMO on-call service for emergencies.

• Serving the West Arnhem region, including homelands. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and other remote communities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate care.
• Nurses handle acute presentations and on-call duties, while GPs are not required to be on-call. In emergencies and acute cases during and after business hours, nursing staff utilize the NT Health medical deputising service (DMO on-call service).
