Huntress Labs is a remote-first cybersecurity company protecting enterprises worldwide with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center. The Security Operations Manager role in Australia leads a global team handling incident investigations, containment, and response across millions of endpoints.

The position focuses on defining workflows, scaling operations, mentoring analysts, and collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support to advance training in Digital Forensics, Incident

Qualificações

• 5+ years in a global 24x7 security operations center with a focus on Windows forensics.
• 2+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or IR role.
• Active involvement in the information security community through conferences or projects.
• Continuous learning of threat actor tradecraft and security operations concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design and enforce internal processes to reduce burnout and increase productivity in a global SOC.
• Manage 24/7 shift coverage to ensure seamless operations year-round.
• Hold weekly 1:1s with analysts to socialize initiatives and drive career progress.
• Develop training programs for DF, IR, malware analysis, threat hunting, and automation.
• Work with Product to prioritize new capabilities and enhancements.
• Maintain quality assurance for the designated region.
• Streamline workflows with Support for SOC analyses.
• Mature processes and relationships with Tactical Response, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership for SOC analysts.
• Align team goals with Huntress’ mission and broader company objectives.
• Provide input to Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product.
• Develop, track, and report OKRs for SOC focus areas.
• Operationalize new technologies and services brought to market.
• Participate in public speaking engagements (webinars and in-person).
