Jobgether in Australia seeks a Senior FP&A Expert – Financial Task Design and Evaluation for a flexible, remote, project-based role. You will design complex FP&A tasks, build reference solutions in Excel, and assess AI-generated models against professional standards.

You'll contribute to evaluation frameworks, write precise task instructions, and help shape benchmarks for AI systems in finance. This is a part-time, freelance engagement offering remote work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities with transparent formulas.
• Experience in budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and investments.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Ability to build scenario-based models and assess impact on performance.
• Experience reconciling complex financial information across sources.
• Excellent written English and clear communication of analyses.

Responsabilités

• Design realistic FP&A tasks reflecting forecasting and decision-making processes.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and reference solutions in Excel.
• Create exercises covering budgeting, rolling forecasts, and headcount planning.
• Build integrated analyses including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Develop scenarios using multiple information sources (contracts, emails, reports).
• Review AI-generated models for technical accuracy and consistency.
• Identify material errors, unsupported assumptions, and inconsistencies.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and clear acceptance criteria.
• Prepare precise task instructions, reference answers, and executive explanations.
• Apply structured evaluation guidelines with evidence-based justifications.
