The Geological Society of Australia seeks an Executive Officer to lead strategic delivery, support governance, and strengthen financial sustainability. You will work with the President and Board to grow membership and partnerships while guiding TAS’s support for GSA.

Based in Australia and largely remote, you will manage budgets, oversee forecasting, and coordinate the GSA team, volunteers and committees to drive growth and impact.

Competenze

• Bachelor or higher degree in a relevant field.
• Experience reporting to a board and governance support.
• Strong financial management, budgets and forecasting.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement and report on the strategic plan with the President and Board, and support good governance.
• Oversee budgets and forecasting with the Treasurer, and grow sponsorship, partnership and conference income.
• Attract new members, re-engage lapsed members and grow student and early-career membership.
• Build relationships across industry, government and universities, and represent GSA externally.
• Position GSA's conference and events as income generators and member-growth drivers.
• Lead the GSA team and coordinate volunteers, committees and working groups.
