Job summary

GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind team seeks an EHS Advisor to support safe and sustainable service activities across multiple wind farm sites. You will develop and maintain EHS systems, ensure compliance with Australian WHS laws and ISO 14001/45001, and provide expert support to sites remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma of WHS or equivalent from a recognized college/university.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an EHS role in construction, energy or renewables.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation.
• Experience implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and obtain GWO certification.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS governance and ensure compliance with legislation, standards and permits.
• Maintain environmental licensing and reporting obligations.
• Participate in environmental monitoring programs (waste, water, air, spill prevention).
• Assist in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver EHS training and raise safety awareness.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS KPIs and dashboards.
• Support audits and management reviews.
