Job summary

Pacific Energy is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support health, safety and environmental performance across projects in Australia. You’ll work with Senior Advisors to develop and improve HSE systems while providing hands-on support to operational teams and contractors.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering safe, compliant operations on renewable energy projects nationwide, with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to diverse HSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety or higher.
• Solid understanding of HSE legislation and its practical application.
• Experience with HSE management systems and internal auditing.
• Experience with high‑risk activities and contractor coordination.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with HSE legislation, Pacific Energy policies and industry best practice.
• Develop and continuously improve HSE management systems, documentation and processes.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments with corrective actions.
• Develop site-specific HSE risk management plans and procedures.
• Assist in emergency management and response plan development and testing.
• Coach employees and contractors on HSE requirements and incident reporting.
• Participate in incident investigations and ensure lessons are learned.
