Job summary

UGL is seeking a Safety Advisor for a major renewable energy project in Narrogin, WA. You will be on site supporting supervisors and crews, delivering practical safety solutions across civil, erection, electrical and transmission works.

Reporting to the Site HSE Manager, you will help identify risks, maintain safety standards and drive a positive safety culture throughout delivery on a 10:4 roster with meals and accommodation on roster.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HSE Advisor or similar in construction or high-risk projects.
• Experience across construction, civil, infrastructure, power, utilities, mining or oil & gas.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Strong field presence with a practical, hands-on approach to safety and ability to work with crews and supervisors.
• Autonomy to operate on a site-based role and willingness for a 10:4 roster (DIDO).

Responsibilities

• Spend time on site performing walks and inspections, identifying hazards and ensuring controls.
• Provide practical safety advice and support to supervisors, contractors and crews.
• Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and daily safety conversations on site.
• Assist incident reporting and investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE documentation and help foster a positive safety culture on site.
