Job summary

Philips is seeking a Remote Service Engineer to join our North Ryde team, focusing on Digital Xray (DXR) devices. You will deliver high-touch, remote-first technical support, performing initial remote diagnosis and guiding customers through DXR-related inquiries.

You will collaborate with Technical Support, Technology and Service teams to deliver a consistent customer experience, manage cases, and ensure rapid, first-time fixes where possible.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in engineering or a technical trade.
• Experience in medical devices is valued.
• Experience with DXR systems or similar complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls and remote diagnosis for DXR devices.
• Create a case and verify contract entitlement.
• Proactive monitoring to achieve zero downtime.
• On-site visits when needed and order parts to achieve first-time fix.
• Coordinate parts availability and provide updates to field engineers.
• Escalate issues and support in-field engineers.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
• Support other service delivery teams as required.
