You will help ensure the office library contains the correct final versions, compare document metadata, and record which file should be used for routine tasks.

Qualifications

• Introductory records role focusing on file version control and metadata.
• Ability to follow a source of truth and maintain naming conventions.
• Experience with online folders and simple spreadsheets helps.

Responsibilities

• Compare assigned digital files with an approved version list or change notice.
• Identify names, dates, categories, and links that require corrections.
• Update permitted metadata in a web-based document system.
• Keep the approved file associated with the correct team or customer record.
• Flag duplicate names and uncertain version histories.
• Note changes made and the source used to support them.
• Protect access to material for a limited group.
• Route content questions to the document owner instead of rewriting them.
