Job summary

Employment Hero is expanding and seeks an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, journals and accruals across global entities. You will work with the Finance Manager and other accountants to maintain compliance and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment and can handle intercompany and FX transactions. Prior NetSuite experience is advantageous, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Currently studying for CA/CPA qualification or planning to start.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank accounts across global entities
• Reconcile company credit cards and spend platforms
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Prepare journals including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, intercompany
• Own Fixed Assets Register
• Complete month-end balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues
• Assist in external audits and optimise accounting processes
• Perform variance analysis of company spends
