Job summary

ARRCS is seeking an experienced Cook to support meals for residents and Home Care consumers at the Tjipiku Pampaku Ngura Flexible aged care facility in Pukatja, SA. The role includes occasional Kitchen Hand duties, with a permanent full-time schedule of 38 hours per week and a gross hourly salary of $34.81–$37.75.

The successful candidate will cook across functions, manage meal preparation, and storage, while meeting dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Certificate to SITXFSA005 standard is preferred or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, handle and store meals for residents and Home Care clients.
• Assist with kitchen hand duties when required (ordering, meal prep, storage).
• Develop menus and accommodate dietary requirements under supervision.
• Adapt to multiple priorities while working in a remote APY Lands facility.
