Job summary

Warrigal Care is seeking a Part-time Cook to provide home cooked meals to our residents, including desserts, soups and sandwiches. You will support the kitchen team with budget-conscious meal preparation, ordering and stock storage, while ensuring high food service standards in an aged care setting.

The role is a 32-hour per week contract with an hourly rate of $30.88 plus super and NFP packaging. Experience in bulk cooking and NSW Food Authority compliance is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparation of fresh bulk cooking.
• Ability to order stock within budget guidelines.
• Strong understanding of food service compliance and NSW Food Authority requirements.
• Experience in the Aged Care Industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver variety of home cooked meals, including desserts, cakes, soups and sandwiches.
• Support budget control, ordering and storing of food items.
• Assist in directing kitchen staff and maintaining service standards.
