Job summary

Trade Circle is seeking a Construction Industry Bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time, work-from-home capacity. You will support trade and construction clients, manage numbers, cash flow and reporting while embracing ownership and independent work.

Ideal candidates have hands-on construction bookkeeping experience, advanced Xero skills, and proven ability to integrate Xero with construction job management software.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on bookkeeping experience in the construction industry.
• Advanced Xero knowledge including payroll, reconciliations and inter-entity transactions.
• Strong experience with construction job management software and its Xero integrations.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and timesheet management.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Customer invoicing and creditor management.
• Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate Xero files.
• Reviewing transactions and integrations between construction job management systems and Xero.
• Identifying discrepancies and resolving them.
• Communicating directly with clients.
• Possible involvement in transport industry compliance tasks.
