Job summary

Randstad HR Partners partners with ALPA to recruit a warm, creative coordinator to run sewing, crafts, textiles workshops in a remote Arnhem Land community. This is a full-time, permanent remote residential role, offering a chance to weave creativity into local enterprise on Yolŋu Country.

Applicants should bring hands-on craft experience and mentoring skills, strong cultural awareness, and leadership. Certifications including a manual driving licence and First Aid are required, with relocation

Qualifications

• Experience in arts, crafts, textiles, or community projects.
• Ability to mentor and build confidence in participants.
• High cultural awareness and adaptability for remote communities.
• Proven leadership to engage participants in low-resource settings.
• Certifications: Driver's licence, Working with Children clearance, First Aid (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate creative workshops in crafts, textiles, weaving, or food prep.
• Mentor and build capacity with Yolŋu Supervisors and participants.
• Manage craft room logistics, inventory, and supplies; maintain a welcoming hub.
• Support community-led initiatives that celebrate culture and wellbeing.
