Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to join a remote, hourly-contract team. You will work on real-world cloud security challenges, analyzing production environments and shaping how AI models reason about security.

You’ll review IAM, networking, storage, and container configurations across major cloud platforms, identify misconfigurations, and provide expert feedback to improve AI-driven security reasoning. Flexible hours, remote worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across one or more major cloud platforms
• Experience recognizing and reasoning about real-world misconfigurations and security incidents
• Ability to think clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and downstream business impact
• Strong written communication skills — you can explain complex security concepts clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and real-world failure patterns
• Review IAM policies, networking configurations, storage permissions, and container security issues
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on actual business impact
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents unfold in practice
• Provide structured, expert feedback that helps frontier AI models reason more accurately about cloud security
