Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) to help train and evaluate frontier AI systems using real-world vulnerability management expertise.

You will analyze CVEs, risk, and remediation scenarios across infrastructure and applications in a fully remote, hourly contract. You will classify severity, contribute to policy-informed risk decisions, and generate realistic security-reasoning data to train AI models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
• Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks.
• Able to articulate tradeoffs between theoretical risk and real-world exploitability.
• Structured, analytical thinker who communicates complex security concepts clearly.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications.
• Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios.
• Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data for AI training and benchmarking.
• Apply practical knowledge of production environments beyond theoretical risk scores.
