Alignerr is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst to help train and evaluate AI systems. The role focuses on applying deep security knowledge to production environments, shaping how AI understands cybersecurity and related risks.

This is a rare, fully remote freelance opportunity with flexible hours (10–40 hours/week). You’ll work independently on security training datasets, incident analysis, and remediation recommendations for cutting-edge AI projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles.
• Familiarity with firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise security tooling.
• Strong understanding of how organizations deploy and operate security controls in practice.
• Able to explain complex security issues — their causes, impact, and remediation — clearly and concisely in writing.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across realistic modern enterprise environments.
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine what went wrong, why, and what the business impact was.
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data.
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems.
• Clearly articulate root causes and recommended remediations in written form.
