Job summary

P-1 AI is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers in Australia to lead customer deployments of Archie, an AI engineer agent. You will shape architecture, data integrations, and user experience for each mission, building end-to-end AI solutions and taking them into production.

You will collaborate with experts to develop AI systems that execute critical engineering tasks, diagnose live issues, and ensure value delivery with secure enterprise practices. Remote work with site time is required.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping data-driven or AI systems to production (Python experience strongly preferred).
• A physical engineering background (automotive, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
• Can rapidly build integrations between disparate customer systems.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and technical leaders.
• Have integrated or extended AI systems. Bonus points for engineering or scientific domains!
• Delivered solutions in secure enterprise environments.
• Handled live production troubleshooting and customer incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with customers and translate engineering challenges into AI use cases.
• Design, implement, and refine customer integrations: connect Archie to engineering data sources and tools.
• Fine-tune and evaluate AI systems in production environments with real customer data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop AI systems for critical customer tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve live deployment issues and implement durable improvements.
