Job summary

P-1 AI is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to lead customer deployments of Archie, an AI engineer for the physical world. You will build end-to-end AI solutions, take them into production, and work with customers to design architectures, data integrations, and user experiences within real engineering workflows.

Ideal candidates ship data-driven AI systems, possess a physical engineering background, and can build integrations across disparate systems while operating in secure enterprise

Qualifications

• Experience shipping data-driven or AI systems to production.
• Physical engineering background (automotive, aerospace, electrical, mechanical).
• Ability to build integrations between disparate customer systems.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and technical leaders.
• Experience with secure enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, translate engineering challenges into AI use cases, design Archie integrations, and provide post-deployment support.
• Design, implement, and refine customer integrations: connect Archie to engineering data sources and tools.
• Fine-tune and evaluate AI systems in production environments using customer data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop novel AI systems for critical tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve live deployment issues and implement durable improvements.
