Better Health Company is seeking an Aboriginal Health Coach to deliver phone-based health coaching and support across programs Australia-wide. You will work remotely or on-site in Abbotsford, VIC, with flexible hours including some evenings.

We value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership, strong relationship-building, and ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining cultural safety in resources and training.

Formación

• Aboriginal identification is a genuine occupational requirement for this role.
• Qualification in a health field (e.g., Bachelor of Nutrition, Exercise Science, Nursing, Health Promotion).
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse communities.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver phone-based health coaching and support across programs.
• Provide practical healthy eating and activity guidance per national guidelines.
• Help families set small goals that lead to lasting change.
• Build relationships with communities and stakeholders.
• Share knowledge to support Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal staff training.
• Advise on Aboriginal cultural and community matters.
• Assist with follow-ups, data entry, and promotional activities.
• Participate in training and quality improvement to grow skills.
• Adapt resources to be culturally safe and meaningful.
