Job summary

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our aged care team at Katherine Hostel in Katherine, NT. You will lead and support care delivery, mentor less experienced staff and ensure our residents receive high-quality, person-centered clinical care in line with ARRCS standards.

The role is permanent and full-time with relocation and furnished, shared accommodation included.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Working Rights for Australia – not sponsorship.
• A minimum of 12 months experience as an RN in an Australian health service; geriatrics/aged care preferred.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
• Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural care teams.
• Desirable: Indigenous Australian remote area experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to meet mandatory compliance requirements.
• References showing proactive, supportive demeanor and strong work ethic.
