St Catherine Labouré Catholic Primary School Gymea seeks a Religious Education Coordinator to shape the Catholic life, vision and strategic direction of the school. You will lead Religious Education, liturgy planning and curriculum development while collaborating with priests, staff and families in a faith-filled learning community.

The role requires a baptized Catholic with ongoing commitment to church teachings, accreditation, and leadership in a contemporary educational setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education from an approved institution.
• Category E Accreditation as per accreditation policy or willingness to meet in first contract term.
• Ability to demonstrate lead teacher descriptors per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Post-graduate leadership studies are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the teaching and learning of Religious Education and the wider religious dimension of the school.
• Lead preparation of liturgies, celebrations and curriculum development with differentiation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, build cross-stage relationships and analyse data to inform planning.
• Demonstrate commitment to Catholic values and engagement with parish life.
