Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Georges Hall in NSW seeks a Religious Education Coordinator to lead the teaching and learning of Religious Education and the wider religious dimension of the school. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will shape Catholic life, vision and strategic direction, and collaborate with priests and parish communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma or Master of Religious Education, Theology or Theological Studies from an approved institution
• Accreditation requirements for Category E or willingness to meet them in first contract term
• Ability to demonstrate the standard descriptors at lead teacher level per the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
• Post graduate leadership study is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead the teaching and learning of Religious Education and the wider religious dimension of the school

• Lead contemporary pedagogy focused on improving student learning
