Job summary

Tip Top Bakeries in New South Wales seeks a Reliability Planner for its Charmhaven site to own maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance, shutdowns and project work.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Safety teams to minimise downtime, improve performance and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities. A hands-on role with strong problem solving and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) required.
• Experience in maintenance planning or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Experience managing contractors, permits and spare parts.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Confident stakeholder and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, shutdowns and equipment overhauls.
• Develop maintenance schedules and detailed job plans.
• Manage spare parts, inventory and maintenance procurement.
• Coordinate contractors, permits and maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive reliability improvements.
• Assist with capital projects and maintenance cost management.
• Raise purchase orders for spare parts, contractor services and approved capital projects.
• Support maintenance and production teams during major breakdowns and operational issues.
• Contribute to capital planning, project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
