Job summary

Ravenswood Gold seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer to maximise the performance, availability, and longevity of our processing plant assets. You will lead reliability improvement initiatives and optimise maintenance strategies across mining operations.

Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, you will analyse plant data, review RCAs, conduct FMECA workshops, and drive PMO programs while ensuring safety compliance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in reliability, maintenance or engineering within mining or heavy industry.
• Experience applying reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMECA, RCA and criticality analysis.
• Strong CMMS experience; Pronto CMMS is highly regarded.
• Solid knowledge of Queensland mining safety legislation.
• Experience in fixed plant processing environments incl. crushing, grinding and CIL/CIP.
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel/Power BI or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current Queensland driver's licence.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review and improve asset management strategies across fixed plant environments.
• Analyse performance data and prepare reliability reports with recommendations.
• Review condition monitoring data (vibration, oil sampling) and advise corrective actions.
• Conduct RCAs to identify failure modes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with OEMs, vendors and technical specialists to resolve issues.
• Lead FMECA workshops and develop maintenance strategies for critical assets.
• Drive PMO initiatives to improve maintenance effectiveness.
• Champion continuous improvement projects from concept to implementation.
• Support maintenance and operations with technical expertise to boost plant performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and Queensland mining legislation.
