Job summary

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead the maintenance reliability function across mill, crusher, and tailings operations.

The role drives the shift from reactive to preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, availability, and plant performance. The candidate will develop and implement maintenance programs, perform RCA, monitor KPIs, and mentor local engineers while ensuring adherence to HSE requirements and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering certification/designation is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience including plant operations and maintenance.
• Previous mineral processing plant experience is required.
• Experience in a senior/team leadership role is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fixed plant maintenance, reliability engineering, and maintenance strategies.
• Experience with RCA, predictive maintenance, asset reliability, maintenance planning, and KPI analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance reliability team and provide technical leadership.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment failures, conduct RCA, and develop corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance strategy development.
• Monitor reliability, availability, downtime, and maintenance KPIs; identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, Projects, HSE, and service providers.
• Support asset life-cycle management, spare parts strategy, and asset integrity decisions.
• Participate in maintenance planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and reliability projects.
• Lead and support MOC activities related to maintenance and reliability.
• Mentor and develop local engineers, promoting knowledge transfer.
• Ensure all activities adhere to company HSE requirements.
