Job summary

Iluka Resources is recruiting a Reliability Engineer for the Balranald operation in NSW. The role focuses on reliability improvement across processing plant assets, using FMECA, RCA, 5 Why's and RCM to reduce downtime and optimise maintenance strategies.

You’ll lead asset-management standards, mentor maintenance teams, and support a culture of continuous improvement, while site-based work with FIFO/DIDO options and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related discipline with strong problem-solving ability.
• Trade background is highly regarded.
• Experience in mining or processing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, analyse, and report on downtime data.
• Facilitate proactive maintenance using FMECA, RCA, 5 Why's, RCM, Weibull analysis and defect elimination.
• Minimise downtime by analysing asset availability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Review and optimise maintenance strategies and asset management standards.
• Provide technical support to resolve complex asset-performance problems.
• Coach maintenance teams on asset management and reliability best practices.
