• Have demonstrated success managing and growing a portfolio of high-value business or commercial banking clients
• Build genuine relationships and deliver consistently strong client experiences
• Bring strong business banking knowledge and commercial acumen
• Are confident identifying, developing, and converting new-to-bank opportunities
• Have strong credit assessment and financial analysis capability
• Understand financial statements, business cash flow, and the drivers behind commercial performance
• Can originate, structure, and negotiate commercial lending solutions
• Are well connected within the Mackay business community, or are motivated to establish a strong local presence
• Enjoy working collaboratively with credit, product, and specialist partners to deliver the best outcomes for clients

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent service
• Manage and grow an established portfolio of commercial banking clients
• Use your local networks and referral partners to identify and pursue new-to-bank opportunities
• Develop a detailed understanding of complex client needs and connect clients with the right product and specialist teams
• Originate, structure, negotiate and execute commercial lending solutions
• Apply sound credit judgement and financial analysis to deliver quality client outcomes
• Build your profile and represent CommBank across Mackay and the surrounding business community
