Job summary

Westpac Group in Brisbane is seeking a Personal Banker to engage customers in-branch and over the phone, uncover financial needs, and apply product knowledge to help clients reach their goals. You will refer customers to specialist teams and coach customers on digital banking offerings.

This full-time, branch-based role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a strong emphasis on sales and exceptional service.

Qualifications

Banking experience is ideal, but not essential - your high-performer energy and ability to nurture strong customer relationships will be key.
Strong experience in a customer-facing / phone-based sales role.
Resilience, tenacity, and the ability to flex in a dynamic environment.
Proven experience in achieving KPIs with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Comfortable with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with customers in-person and over the phone to uncover financial needs and apply product knowledge to help them achieve goals.
Refer customers to Home Loans and Business Banking, and coach them on digital banking offerings.
Balance sales targets with the delivery of exceptional customer service.
