Job summary

Westpac's Cairns Shopping Centre branch is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor for a full-time, branch-based position. You will welcome customers and discuss their needs, offering tailored banking solutions in person and over the phone.

Using your product knowledge, you will help customers achieve their financial goals and refer to specialised Banking teams when needed. We provide comprehensive training to develop your career within the bank.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role with experience of working to targets
• Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations
• Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone
• Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
• An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
• The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies

• Welcome customers to Westpac and engage in conversations to uncover their needs
• Provide tailored banking solutions using product knowledge
