Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Personal Banker in Double Bay, NSW. The role blends sales and customer service, with accountability for sales and referral targets. You will engage customers in person and by phone, help them meet financial goals, and refer to Home Loans and Business Banking as needed.

This full‑time, branch‑based position runs Monday to Friday 8:30–4:45, with training and support to grow your banking career within Westpac.

Qualifications

• Banking experience is ideal but not essential; high‑performer energy and strong customer relationships are key.
• Experience in customer-facing or phone-based sales roles is desirable.
• Ability to stay resilient and adaptable across different customers and days.
• Track record of meeting performance KPIs and delivering excellent customer service.
• Comfort with numbers and navigating multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in‑person and over the phone to uncover financial needs.
• Refer customers to specialist teams (e.g., Home Loans, Business Banking).
• Coach customers on digital banking offerings and achieve sales/referral targets.
