Job summary

The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC) is seeking a Scheduler for our Newcastle branch to coordinate reinforcing steel orders across multiple projects. You will work with Sales, Production and Operations to interpret drawings, plan production needs and ensure on-time delivery.

Strong prioritization and communication skills are essential in this hands-on role. Experience in reo scheduling or construction scheduling, plus knowledge ofAutoCAD, Revit or Bluebeam, will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in reinforcing steel, reo scheduling, construction scheduling or similar customer coordination role.
• Practical reo knowledge from site work, installation oversight or scheduling exposure is highly regarded.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and manage multiple project deadlines with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer requirements with Sales, Production and Operations to schedule reinforcing steel orders accurately and on time.
• Interpret structural drawings and generate bar cutting and bending lists.
• Manage customer enquiries, updates, drawings, lead times and production schedules.
• Balance multiple projects and delivery deadlines while keeping customers and internal teams aligned.
• Maintain WHS and compliance across scheduling activities.
