Job summary

MedHealth’s IPAR team in Melbourne is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant offering expertise in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy to support occupational rehabilitation. This full-time role focuses on case management, client recovery and return-to-work goals within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will liaise with employers, medical professionals and insurers, manage caseloads with dedicated support, and contribute to high-quality reports and evidence-based

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy.
• Full professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA EP accreditation.
• Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Compassion, kindness and empathy.
• Valid driver’s license and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Case management with support to alleviate administrative tasks.
• Assist clients to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
• Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals and insurers.
• Work across schemes such as workers' compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare and DVA.
• Prepare timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations and clinical reasoning.
