Job summary

IPAR is seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist) to join our Melbourne team. You will work within a multidisciplinary group, delivering occupational rehabilitation services to clients, coordinating case management, and liaising with employers and clinicians to achieve optimal return-to-work outcomes.

The role requires Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, full AHPRA registration, and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• Full Professional Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is an advantage
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Compassion, kindness and empathy
• Driver’s license and access to your own car with insurance

Responsibilities

• Case management for a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
• Assist clients to return to health and return to work outcomes
• Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers for clinical updates and aligned goals
• Work across schemes such as workers compensation, third party, life insurance, Comcare & DVA
• Conduct ADL assessments to assess functional needs and recommend equipment or home mods
• Prepare timely, high-quality reports with findings and recommendations
