Job summary

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission in Melbourne is seeking a Manager Major Licensing, Sports Controlling Bodies and Bookmakers to lead end-to-end licensing and regulatory oversight of wagering, sports bodies and bookmakers.

You will develop risk-based licensing strategies, oversee enforcement, and build strong stakeholder relationships to reduce gambling harm and ensure public confidence in Victoria's gambling regulation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading regulatory, compliance or licensing functions within a complex environment.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and prioritise risks and develop evidence-based strategies that achieve regulatory outcomes.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high performing team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory oversight of the wagering, sports controlling bodies and bookmakers sectors.
• Develop and deliver risk-based licensing, monitoring, enforcement and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reduce gambling harm and strengthen regulatory outcomes.
