Job summary

The Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety seeks a seasoned leader to regulate wagering and community gaming, delivering robust compliance, audit and inspection programs for WA communities.

You will head the Wagering and Community Gaming Compliance Branch, offering strategic guidance to executives and building strong relationships with industry and government partners to safeguard regulatory integrity.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance.
• Proven governance and risk management leadership.
• Ability to develop and implement regulatory frameworks and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Wagering and Community Gaming Compliance Branch, delivering effective compliance, audit and inspection programs.
• Provide high-level advice to executives, the Commission and Government; foster stakeholder engagement with industry and agencies.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies and policies to protect the integrity of wagering and community gaming sectors.
