Job summary

NSW Fair Trading is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join the Intelligence unit within the Regulatory Intelligence, Data & Insights branch in Parramatta. Hybrid work arrangements support flexible delivery.

You will produce timely intelligence products, analyse high-risk consumer, business and regulatory activities, identify trends, present clear advice to diverse audiences, and collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen regulatory insight.

Qualifications

• Experience in an intelligence environment or a similar analytical role.
• Ability to research, analyse and interpret information to support decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication tailored to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely, accurate intelligence products to support decision-making.
• Undertake projects on high-risk consumer, business and regulatory activities.
• Identify trends and issues in high-risk industries to target activity.
• Use data extraction software and analytical tools to create intelligence products.
• Prepare clear technical advice and present to diverse audiences.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen capability.
