Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah seeks two fixed-term registrars for Aug 2027 to Jan 2028 to support the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. You will assess and manage patients under supervision, and participate in on-call rosters including weekend rounds.

AHPRA registration and 2+ years of RMO experience are required, with strong teamwork and organizational skills. The role offers salary packaging, benefits, and professional development within a supportive team focused on rehabilitation and aged care.

Two fixed-term full term registrars from August 2027 to January 2028 required. Positions are accredited for training with the AFRM Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers. About the role

This position involves assessment and management of clients attending the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Calvary, Kogarah. It is responsible for supporting the day-to-day monitoring & management of patients attending the unit under the supervision of a Rehabilitation Specialist. This position will also require participation on the after-hours/on-call Calvary Hospital medical officer roster, including weekend ward rounds.

About you

• Unconditional Registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA and a minimum of at least two years supervised practice as an RMO
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written, with demonstrated computer skills
• Proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Experience in Rehabilitation Medicine/Geriatric medicine is preferable
• Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
