Job summary

Calvary Health Care Kogarah in Sydney is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to support delegated patient care under a Registered Nurse, in line with NSW Health guidelines. You'll assess, intervene and evaluate patient status and communicate changes to the RN, while leading an interdisciplinary team.

• AHPRA Registration is required.

Job description

About the role

Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in line with NSW Health guidelines and local protocols, you'll deliver delegated patient care while retaining full accountability for your practice. Your responsibilities span assessment, intervention, and evaluation of individual health and functional status with consistent communication to the RN regarding any changes. You'll apply critical thinking to support care decisions and work collaboratively with the broader healthcare team to involve patients, families, and carers in planning and achieving positive health outcomes.
