Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Anglican Care aged care facilities across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The role offers an attractive base hourly rate with penalties and allowances, plus generous salary packaging and various staff benefits.

Applicants must be an AHPRA-registered RN, demonstrate person-centred care, and be available for shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience in palliative care, knowledge ofAN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence

• Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
• Drivers licence + reliable transport
• Be available to work a range of shifts - morning, afternoon and nights
• National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
• Willingness to undergo a functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening
• Current NDIS Check
