Anglican Care is seeking permanent fulltime Registered Nurses to join our Mirrabooka Place facility in Gloucester NSW. You will lead ward teams, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for ageing residents, supported by sponsorship options for eligible visa holders.

You will work a fortnightly roster covering morning, afternoon and night shifts, with a relocation package and incentives at 6 and 12 months for successful candidates.

The Opportunity

We have permanent fulltime opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our Anglican Care aged care service at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. We welcome applications from Registered Nurses seeking employer sponsorship for this regional opportunity. To be considered, sponsorship visa requirements apply. You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level, participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person centred care. Your strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff. We can offer a supported relocation package + incentive payments at 6 months and 12 months to the successful candidate. Working on a fortnightly roster, the Registered Nurse is required to work a range of morning afternoon and night shifts in the facility.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Experience in palliative care, knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people
• Demonstrated experience in leadership of employees
• Excellent time management, an ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current Drivers Licence

About you?

• Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
• Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
