Job summary

The Respiratory ward at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join their team. 8C is an 18 bed unit with 14 acute beds plus 4 closer observation beds, caring for patients requiring close monitoring and interventions such as Non-Invasive Ventilation and High-Flow Oxygen therapy.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Provide evidence of current experience in an acute hospital environment, including examples of current clinical knowledge and critical thinking.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

The Respiratory ward at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join their team. 8C is an 18 bed unit with14 acute beds plus 4 closer observation beds. The unit that caters for patients requiring close monitoring and additional interventions such as Non-Invasive Ventilation and High-Flow Oxygen therapy. Excellent learning opportunities for staff to improve clinical skills and learn advance skills such as all aspects of Non-invasive ventilation and care of patients with Tracheostomies. The Ward is supported by enthusiastic nursing staff, a variety of allied health professionals, a Respiratory Clinical Nurse Consultant, and a Ward Based Clinical Nurse Educator.
