Job summary

Mater Public Hospital Brisbane is actively recruiting Registered Nurses to join our Permanent Nurse Pool. We offer multiple part-time positions with flexible hours and full-time equivalent arrangements, across a 24/7 roster.

This role provides exposure to Medical, Surgical and Oncology specialties, across wards and multidisciplinary teams, supporting professional growth within a not-for-profit healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse Division 1 (without restriction).
• Minimum 12 months post-graduate nursing experience.
• Flexibility to work across various wards and adapt to different teams.
• Commitment to nursing excellence and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use health information systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

Mater Public Hospital Brisbane is currently recruiting Registered Nurses to join our Permanent Nurse Pool. We have multiple permanent part-time positions, with flexible hours and FTE arrangements available. The role involves working across a 24/7 roster.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your clinical skills and expand your experience across a range of specialty areas, including Medical, Surgical and Oncology. Working within the Nurse Pool provides exposure to different wards and multidisciplinary teams, supporting both your professional growth and career development within a leading healthcare organisation.

Salary range: $42.10 - $56.52 per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing

As a Permanent Pool Registered Nurse, you will provide high standard of patient centred nursing care. Registered Nurse core responsibilities are supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams.

About you

• Current AHPRA registration Registered Nurse Division 1(without restriction)
