Job summary

Mater Public Hospital Brisbane is actively recruiting Registered Nurses to join our Permanent Nurse Pool. We offer multiple part-time positions with flexible hours and full-time equivalent arrangements, across a 24/7 roster.

This role provides exposure to Medical, Surgical and Oncology specialties, across wards and multidisciplinary teams, supporting professional growth within a not-for-profit healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse Division 1 (without restriction).
• Minimum 12 months post-graduate nursing experience.
• Flexibility to work across various wards and adapt to different teams.
• Commitment to nursing excellence and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard, patient-centred nursing care across wards.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and basic needs.
• Monitor and document patient status, communicating with the team for changes in care.
