Job summary

Healthscope’s Norwest Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Post Anaesthesia Recovery Unit (PARU) on a full-time basis. You’ll deliver holistic, evidence-based care after surgery, ensuring patient safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting.

This role supports a Monday to Friday AM/PM schedule with opportunities for ongoing professional growth and development within the PARU and broader Healthscope network.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration – Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ acute care nursing experience (training in Recovery nursing can be provided).
• Postgraduate certificate in Recovery (or working towards).
• Paediatric experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA Registration – Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ acute care nursing experience (training in Recovery nursing can be provided)
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Postgraduate certificate in Recovery (or working towards)
• Paediatric experience

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26-$56.54per hour.

Applicants must provide a current National Police Check, WWCC (where applicable), and proof of right to work in Australia. Immunity to specified infectious diseases is required for Category A Healthcare workers.
