Job summary

Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney’s North-West is seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses – Scrub Scout to join our dynamic Perioperative Services team. In a fast-paced, high-acuity environment you will deliver high-quality scrub and scout support and collaborate with surgeons and anaesthetists.

You will have a minimum 3 years perioperative experience, current AHPRA registration, and ideally a Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing or be working towards it.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a perioperative setting.
• Scrub/Scout experience (Neurosurgery or Orthopaedics highly regarded).
• Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards).
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient‑centred care.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality scrub and scout support across a range of specialties.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout, you will:

• Provide high‑quality scrub and scout support across a range of specialties

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26-$56.54per hour.
