Job summary

Healthscope is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Norwest Private Hospital PARU. This full-time role focuses on post-anesthesia recovery, delivering holistic care in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate has a minimum 2 years in acute care, AHPRA registration, and a commitment to patient safety. Training in Recovery may be provided; paediatric experience is a plus, with Monday–Friday AM/PM shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years’ acute care nursing experience (Recovery training can be provided).
• Postgraduate certificate in Recovery or working towards it.
• Paediatric experience is preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Current AHPRA Registration – Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ acute care nursing experience (training in Recovery nursing can be provided)
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Postgraduate certificate in Recovery (or working towards)
• Paediatric experience

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26-$56.54per hour.

Applicants must provide a current National Police Check, WWCC (where applicable), and proof of right to work in Australia. Immunity to specified infectious diseases is required for Category A Healthcare workers.
