About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and best practice.
• Support patients and families throughout their healthcare journey, providing education and emotional support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
• Promote and model a culture of safe clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and effective communication with patients, families and colleagues.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Experience in Paediatric Nursing and Adult Surgical Nursing.
• Clinical experience in one or more of the following specialties:
  • Paediatric Surgery
  • Women's Health
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
