Job summary

Collarcare Aged Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical care to residents across our aged care facilities. You will document residents' conditions and assist with medication administration, while supporting nutrition, infection control and a holistic model of care.

You will help with admissions and transitions for residents and families, liaising with doctors, families and allied health, and you will work within strict aged care standards on every shift.

Qualifications

• AHPRA RN registration is required.
• Working experience in Australian aged care facilities is essential (not placements).
• Current CPR & First Aid certification is required.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents.
• Document residents' condition and assist with medication administration.
• Assist residents with meals and monitor nutrition.
• Implement infection prevention and control measures.
• Ensure holistic care is followed on every shift.
• Assist with admission and easing transitions for residents and families.

To be considered you will need to be able to provide evidence of:

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Working Aged Care facility experience in Australia. (This does not include placements)
• 2 Covid Vaccinations + Booster
• Flu Vaccination.
• Valid Police Check (within the last 12 months).
• 100 Points of ID.
• Valid work Rights.
• Current CPR & First Aid.
• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain

What will you be doing? RN

• Clinical care of residents
